B & W Auction Services handles primarily household, antique and estate auctions. We take pride in running our auctions in a professional and efficient manner and as such we generally average one item per minute during an auction. This is helpful to auction attendees so that they may arrange their schedule accordingly. We are careful to point out any flaws that we notice with an item and would never deliberately misrepresent any item. Consigners can be assured strict confidentiality. We respect their need to reserve some items, however, we do not allow our consigners to inflate the price by bidding on or buying back their own goods. We do permit our staff to bid on auction items competitively. Occasionally we are tasked with selling an item on a customer's behalf. Please click on the Shop tab to view these items. If you are unable to attend one of our auctions, you may leave an advance bid and we will bid on your behalf. Please contact us at least one day before the auction to register for this. |
Payment of goods must be made by the close of the sale. We are required to charge HST on all items purchased at our auctions. Payment may be made by cash or cheque with proper identification. Please ensure that payment has been made before removing your items from the premise, as well, please ask one of our floor staff for assistance in retrieving your items. We are not responsible for items being broken, lost or stolen after you have won them.
